In recent years, winemakers have attempted to highlight a single grape in their wine and shout that grapes’ name prominently on the label. But historically, this just wasn’t done. In fact, many wines are considerably better when the winemaker balances the characteristics of more than one grape into a marriage of flavour that wouldn’t be possible using just one grape.

This fascinating and delicious seminar will discuss the reasons for blending, the blends that have worked the best historically, and of course allow us to sample some of these blends. 6 different wines and delicious food prepared by top Chefs Matt Pennell and Adam Lund.
